We are a small press dedicated to publishing quality literature.  We are not a vanity press.  No author will ever pay money to get published by us nor will anyone ever pay a fee to have their material considered.  We only publish material we believe deserves to be read.

Scurfpea Publishing was founded with the goal of providing a means for authors who are overlooked by larger presses to get their material published.  We strive to provide the best deal possible for our authors while not losing money ourselves.  The cut we take from the sales of each book is designed to be enough to allow publication of one more book and to provide a little padding for any book which might fall short in sales.  If more presses followed this approach, there would be a few less wealthy investors but, perhaps, more high quality poetry and literature in this world.
